Our founder and managing director, Dion Neill is a strong advocate for raising the benchmark of service delivery and professional standards within New Zealand's private security industry. His career began following a period of service in the defence forces, followed by training with military, intelligence and law enforcement officers. During his time at the private training establishment of the Royal New Zealand Police College, he gained a Certificate in Investigation Skills.
 
Dion was certified as a fraud examiner (CFE) and achieved Level 3 National Certificate in Security (including specialist units in mobile patrols, secure transport and personal protection), Certificate in Providing Executive Protection (Alan Kinnane), Certificate in Providing Personal Protection (USA), Level 4 Certificate in Security Operations (Australia) and Diploma of Security and Risk Management (Australia) along with a number of other recognised credentials.
 

Following many years as a first responder in the emergency services, Dion was offered a senior management position with a large international security company. He was responsible for managing over 300 frontline operational staff along with several key national security contracts. Dion was assigned to protect a prominent business owner from serious threats of violence. This assignment was the catalyst for him to develop his interest in providing high-level personal protection. 

You’re in very safe hands! Dion and his associates have worked as private security contractors in some of the world’s most volatile regions, including Asia, Middle East and South Africa. Dion personally managed the security for a New Zealand sports team during a tour of South Africa. Dion is a recipient of the New Zealand Defence Forces Service Medal, St John Service Medal and Long Service Award from the Wellington Free Ambulance.

Dion Neill is a current member of the Institute of Mercantile Agents (Australia), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (New Zealand Chapter), New Zealand Credit and Finance Institute, New Zealand Security Association and two special interest groups for security consultants and security training providers.
