Introducing Dion Neill, Founder & Managing Director.
Dion Neill is a certified instructor in personal safety, situational awareness, and conflict management. Dion is a finalist of the 2021 New Zealand Security Awards and 2024, 2023 and 2022 Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs). In 1987, Dion established his career in the security industry following a period of service in the defence forces and emergency services.
Dion provided security to a prominent business owner who received threats of violence. This assignment was the catalyst for Dion to launch his security company, Protective Services to the market. The company was later acquired by Platform 4 Group (P4G Security). Dion is a recipient of the New Zealand Defence Forces service medal, St John service medal and long service award from the Wellington Free Ambulance. He is recognised as one of New Zealand's leading private investigators, security providers and security risk management consultants.
Dion was professionally trained to provide security and close personal protection in the USA, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. He is supported by a team of highly-trained security professionals sourced exclusively from elite units of the police and military. Dion has been awarded with a Certificate in Investigation Skills (Royal New Zealand Police College), National Certificate in Security (Level IV), Certificate in Executive Protection, Certificate in Security Operations (Level IV - Australia) and Diploma of Security and Risk Management (Australia).
