We prioritise workplace health and safety by using a structured approach to induction, training and assessment. We maintain plans, policies and operational procedures to manage the quality of our service delivery and to mitigate any risk. TNG Security uses the latest health and safety management system based on recognised best practice. We are committed to ensure our workplace practices are compliant with the all relevant legislation and work safe requirements.

Ethics & Business Standards

Our governance includes an established code of professional ethics which outlines our expectations with respect to our security professionals behaviour. Strict adherence to the code and supporting policies is a condition of all contractors agreements, and any material breaches of this framework would result in legal or disciplinary action.

Professional Memberships

Dion Neill is a current member of the Institute of Mercantile Agents (Australia), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (New Zealand Chapter), New Zealand Credit and Finance Institute, New Zealand Security Association and two special interest groups for security consultants and security training providers. 

Introducing Dion Neill

Our founder and managing director, Dion Neill is a strong advocate for raising the benchmark of service delivery and professional standards within New Zealand's private security industry. His career began following a period of time in the New Zealand defence forces, he was trained by military, intelligence and law enforcement officers. Dion attended the private training establishment of the Royal New Zealand Police College and gained a Certificate in Investigation Skills.
 
Dion was certified as a fraud examiner (CFE) and achieved a National Certificate in Security (including Personal Protection), Certificate in Executive Protection (Alan Kinnane and Associates), Certificate in Providing Executive Protection (USA), Level 4 Certificate in Security Operations (Australia) and Diploma of Security and Risk Management (Australia) along with a number of other internationally recognised credentials.
 

Following several years of service as a first responder, Dion was offered a senior management position with a large security company. He was responsible for managing over 300 frontline staff along with several national security contracts. Dion was assigned to protect a business owner from serious threats of violence. This 'at risk' assignment was the catalyst for him to develop his interest in providing high-level security and personal protection. 

You’re in very safe hands! Dion and his associates have worked as private security contractors in some of the world’s most volatile regions, including Asia, Middle East and South Africa. Dion personally managed the security for a New Zealand sports team during a tour of South Africa. Dion is a proud recipient of the New Zealand Defence Forces Service Medal, St John Service Medal and Long Service Award from the Wellington Free Ambulance.
